FULL TENT $325
Tents are 10' x 10'. Each full vendor space includes four chairs and two tables, each with scuba skirting.
HALF BOOTH $175
Half booth spaces are available and will be shared equally with each vendor taking one half of the booth (layout will be predetermined by GAB Fest). --In the case of a half booth space rental each vendor will get one table with scuba skirt and two chairs.
SHARED TABLE $95
One half of an 8 foot table.
-Approximate area of individual space at a shared table is 48" x 30"
-There will be two tables inside a 10’ x 10’ tent with up to four authors per tent.
-Only registered authors at tables due to space restrictions.
*10'x10' SPACE (you provide tent, tables, etc.) $65
*10'x20' SPACE (you provide tent, tables, etc.) $120
*You provide your own tent, chairs, tables display stands, or other.
--Please note, must use sandbags for tents, stakes are not permitted.
THE FOLLOWING APPLIES TO ALL AUTHOR/VENDOR SPACES
All materials and signage must stay within tent and may not go outside individual allotted space.
Power is not included.
Power is available (for a fee) to a limited number of spaces.
-Noise-producing generators are not permitted.
Free Wi-Fi is available in the square.
Vendors are responsible for collecting payment for any merchandise sold at their booth as well as for any applicable sales tax. Forms for individuals/businesses not in possesion of a SD sales tax license will be distributed the day of the event.
The event will not be cancelled, delayed, or postponed in the case of inclement weather. Rain or shine, the Great American Book Festival will continue to take place. Vendors are expected to be completely set up and ready for business by 9:00am and will not begin taking down their space until 5:15pm. Vendors who do not observe these guidelines will forfeit the opportunity to participate in future events.
Deposits are required to hold booth space. Deposits are nonrefundable. Full payment must be received 60 days prior to the event date. Vendors who cancel at least ninety days in advance of the event will receive a full refund less the deposit amount. Cancellation must be in writing. Cancellations less than 60 days prior to the event are nonrefundable. Booth spaces may not be shared without express written permission from Great American Book Festival.
When paying 50% deposit only, the remaining 50% will be billed 30 days before the event and must be paid no less than 15 days prior to the event. Failure to pay 15 days prior to the event may cause forfeiture of event space and exclusion from the event program.
Booth placement will be determined by The Great American Book Festival and is subject to change.
Non Profit organizations are eligible to receive a 15% discount. -Must show proof of 501c3 status to receive discount.
-Please plan to arrive at the festival grounds no earlier than 8:00 am and be sure to be completely set up by 9:00 am
-Please do not begin to tear down your booth space any earlier than 5:15 pm.
